Orig Rock Island Hit Miss Gas Engine Ci Engine Truck Old original rock island, alamo, empire mfg. Co. Rock island, illinois hti & miss gas engine cast iron wheeled engine truck. This truck is for the smaller 1 hp and 2 hp engines. Cast iron wheels are 10 dia.
With 2 1/2 face on front axle and and 12 x 2 1/2 on back axle. This truck is for a plank engine monting. Front axle wheels turn under lpank when mounted. Makes for tight turns in the shop. Handle is original adn in good condition. No cracks, welds or other repairs. Last photo is old catalog pirnt showing 1 hp portable.
